Day Student Life at Tallulah Falls SchoolTallulah Falls School has a significant day student population; over forty-two percent of our students this year are day students. Day students at Tallulah Falls have an opportunity to be involved in a unique environment that will benefit them both academically and socially. We encourage our day students to become involved in the schools’ many activities and programs. These include extra tutorial sessions, a number of clubs, athletic teams, extra-curricular trips and supervised recreation opportunities on campus. A list of the weekend activities can be found under Fall 2009 Student Life Activities.
As a day student at Tallulah Falls School, there are a few events that will have required attendance over the course of the school year. These include but are not limited to the Board of Trustees Tea, Field Day, an occasional Saturday class, and the International Dinner. These events are an integral part of the Tallulah Falls School experience and help to define us a community.
Our mission statement reads, “challenging preparation for college and life”. While Tallulah Falls School focuses on rigor in the classroom, we also pay close attention to the second part of the statement. We challenge our students to become involved in the local community and to make a positive impact. We are teaching them the importance of not missing opportunities as success is often predicated by self motivation.

Our sense of community and family sets us apart from other schools. Our environment allows us to focus on creating a well-rounded student that is prepared for the opportunities that he or she will face upon graduation. We invite you to be a part of this experience. Tallulah Falls School offers a Shuttle Bus with stops in 3 counties to help our day student families with transportation during the week. If you have any questions regarding our Day Student Program or the Shuttle Bus please feel free to contact us at any time.
