Biography
|
Over the last 16 years from three different classrooms and spanning grades 8-12, Terri Bogan has been teaching English grammar, writing, and literature at T.F.S. Her classroom, always unique in decor and furniture, has been the unofficial senior hang-out since 2000. She truly enjoys the energetic, idealistic young people in her classroom, and incorporates innovative teaching strategies. In recent years, she has also developed classes in creative writing, American cultural literacy and speech, women's studies, and life skills and consumerism. An advocate for students, Mrs. Bogan has been involved in the student council and is currently the faculty advisor for the National Honor Society. When she isn't in the classroom, you'll find her curled up reading, working on an art project in her studio or heading off into the mountains on a motorcycle ride. Besides the fact that she loves being in the classroom, Terri also sheds her love on her husband, her many dogs, cats and turtles.
