Tri-M Music Honor Society inducts new members

 
 

 

The Tallulah Falls School chapter of the Tri-M Music Honor Society recently inducted seven new members. The September 2 induction ceremony was attended by the entire TFS upper school student body. Tri-M is the international music honor society for middle and high school students and has more than 5,500 chartered chapters.

The name “Tri-M” is in reference to “Modern Music Masters.” The organization is designed to recognize students for their academic and musical achievements and reward them for their accomplishments and service activities. Tri-M encourages appreciation and awareness of music and promotes wider opportunities for sharing joy through music.

2016-17 inductees are (alphabetically): sophomore Clarke Bailey of Clarkesville, sophomore Qianyu (Katherine) Chen of China, junior Sarah Catherine Fordham of Demorest, sophomore Madeline McClurg of Clarkesville, junior Chuqi (Crystina) Ou of China, sophomore Emily Wonders of Clarkesville and senior Yuting Zhang of China.
