TFS coaches select Indians of the Week

 
 

Tallulah Falls School coaches have named four Indians of the Week for the week of Jan. 2-7.

Jason Lin

VARSITY BOY

Senior Jason Lin of Taiwan has been selected by varsity girls basketball coach Tom Tilley an a TFS Indian of the Week.  “Jason is an extremely hard working manager who is a ‘jack of all trades,’” Tilley said. “His duties include scout team player, keeping records, and actually giving coaching tips. He is quick-witted and never hesitates to help any of us. He is very valuable to us and practices as hard as any player. He truly loves the game of basketball.

Sophie Burke

VARSITY GIRL

Varsity swim coach Annette Cochran named junior Sophie Burke of Chesterton, Indiana as an Indian of the Week. “Sophie is a great swimmer who is dedicated to her team,” Cochran said. “She wants to improve her time so she repeatedly attends extra practices to get where she wants to be. Sophie has set some goals for herself to attend state competition this year and is working hard to achieve them.”

 

 

Brinson Hall

MIDDLE SCHOOL GIRL

Middle school girls basketball coach Randy Morris has selected eighth grader Brinson Hall of Mt. Airy as an Indian of the Week. “Brinson is our team leader on and off the court,” Morris said. “The girls look to her leadership for direction. She is also our team leader in points scored for the season. She is truly our field general.” 

Caleb Carter

MIDDLE SCHOOL BOY

Eighth grader Caleb Carter of Demorest was named an Indian of the Week by middle school boys ‘A’ squad coach Lowell Hamilton. “Caleb is one of my more improved players. For the past two games, Caleb has rebounded well and continues to show vast improvement.”
