TFS names middle school Students of the Month for March


Four Tallulah Falls School middle school students have been selected by members of the middle school faculty as Students of the Month for March. 

5th grade

The fifth grade student of the month for March is Claire Kelly of Demorest. “Claire is a good listener and participates in class,” said Stacie Besier, English and history teacher. “She enjoys learning and is always positive.” 

6th grade

The sixth grade student of the month is Sarah Jennings of Clarkesville. “Sarah is a responsible student who leads by example,” said mathematics teacher Annette Shirley. “She displays a positive attitude and good works habits. She is also hard-working, kind, pleasant and a team player when working on group projects with other students.”  


7th grade

The seventh grade student of the month is Ava Wehrstein of Demorest. “Ava is an extremely hard worker and is very dedicated to everything she does,” said Kim McClurg, Wehrstein’s English teacher. “She is an Academic Ace and in the top ten percent of her class. She is also extremely respectful and polite. She is an absolute delight to her teachers and her classmates look up to her as a leader.”

8th grade

The final middle school student of the month is eighth grader Abby Carlan of Baldwin. “Abby is an excellent student who is well-rounded and exhibits a positive attitude,” said Killeen Jensen, Georgia History teacher at the TFS middle school. “She always puts forth outstanding effort, but is also kind and respectful.”
