Middle School Girl

Barrett Whitener, an eighth-grader from Clayton, was named a TFS Indian of the Week by middle school basketball coach Rick Hammock. “Barrett is a very humble young lady,” Hammock said. “She is always willing to do whatever is asked of her and demonstrates great leadership through service. She is both hard-working and faithful to the coaches and her teammates.” 

Middle School Boy

Seventh-grader Daniel Shin of South Korea was selected as an Indian of the Week by middle school swim coach Susan Nichols. “Daniel is new to swimming and is showing great promise,” Nichols said. “He has quickly learned freestyle and backstroke. He internalizes feedback and quickly implements it.  He has shown great determination and dedication this past week and will soon master each stroke.”
