TFS Indians win over George Walton

 
 

In a Jan. 11 home contest, the Tallulah Falls School varsity boys basketball team came away with a victory over George Walton Academy, with a final score of 58-52.

According to head coach Jim Van Hooser, the Bulldogs of George Walton led 52-47 with two minutes remaining on the game clock.

“The Indians rallied to score the last 11 points of the game for the victory,” Van Hooser said. “This was a huge team victory in that each player contributed in some way to the win.”

  • Junior Matthew Weidner of Clarkesville – 23 points, four rebounds
  • Junior Winston Davis of the Bahamas – 16 points, three assists
  • Junior Reeves Cody of Cornelia –  Nine rebounds, five assists
  • Senior Jake Carver of Demorest – 10 assists, two rebounds, one steal
  • Freshman Gabe Keene of Demorest – nine rebounds, two steals, two blocks
