TFS Indians defeat Eagles of RGNS

The Eagles from Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School braved the metro Clayton traffic and journeyed south on March 27 to take on the Tallulah Falls School JV baseball Indians.

On a beautiful day at the Higgins Baseball Complex, the Indians defeated the northern rivals, 10-0, according to assistant coach Dustin Rogers.

Sophomore Trent Thomas of the Bahamas threw three, shutout innings allowing only one hit while striking out six of the nine batters he faced, Rogers said.

Offensively, the Indians were led by sophomore Cainan Yaskiewicz of Highlands who reached base on two hits while scoring and driving home a run. Thomas reached base three times on four at-bats.
