TFS coaches names Indians of the Week for March 25-30

Tallulah Falls School coaches have selected their Indian athletes of the week for March 25-30.

MIDDLE SCHOOL GIRL

Seventh-grader Keygan Antosiak of Clayton was selected as an Indian of the Week by middle school soccer coach Travis Mullis. “Keygan played as a sixth grader on the co-ed middle school soccer team in the fall of 2017,” Mullis said. “She has an attack mentality and good speed and currently plays forward for the team. She scored her first goal this year against Lakeview Academy. Keygan is always ready to train and help her team achieve better results.”

MIDDLE SCHOOL BOY

Eighth-grader Henry Bowman of Cleveland was named an Indian of the Week by middle school golf coach Matt Heyl. “Henry led the middle school golf team throughout the season with the lowest team average and low score for every match,” Heyl said. “He also improved his score at the difficult Sky Valley Course last week for the Tri-State championship to once again be the TFS low score. Henry has been very consistent and solid for us. He also puts in extra time training besides the practice days which is why he is our leading golfer at this point.”

VARSITY GIRL

Junior Reid Kafsky of Clarkesville was named an Indian of the Week by varsity track & field coach Scott Neal. “Reid set three personal records in three event victories en route to scoring 34.5 points and earning the high point award as the Lady Indians claimed the winning plaque at the Mt. Yonah Invite in White County,” said Neal. “It was a touchstone meet for Reid in which she demonstrated both significant skill acquisition and competitive tenacity, leading the team as a role model of expressive joy as well.”

VARSITY BOY

Sophomore Chathan Clouatre of Toccoa was selected as an Indian of the Week by varsity baseball coach Mark Wilcox. “For the week Chathan batted over .500,” Wilcox said. “He had five hits along with four walks, four RBIs and scored three runs. Chathan continues to show a toughness not seen in many kids. On Saturday he caught 14 innings on a warm day while continuing to block bad pitches.”
