TFS esports on a winning streak

Tallulah Falls School’s esports program kept its winning ways going in its inaugural season on Thursday, Nov. 14. 

On Thursdays, the esports program plays Rocket League. The TFS Drifters, consisting of juniors Eli Higbie of Clarkesville, Baylee MacBeth of Clarkesville and Joe Griswold of Demorest, defeated their opponent 3-0 to claim a win. 

“The team showed patience and great teamwork in their victory,” coach Casey Barron said.

The other Rocket League team, TFS Lockdown, also earned a win, as their opponent forfeited. TFS Lockdown consists of juniors Cain Chitwood of Lavonia, Grant Barron of Clarkesville and freshman Seth Justice of Tiger. 

The TFS esports program competes every Tuesday and Thursday. On Tuesdays, the teams play League of Legends and on Thursdays, the teams play Rocket League.
