JV girls win inaugural game at Towns County, boys win thriller
The JV boys and girls hit the hardwood on Thursday evening at Towns County, with the girls highlighting the night with their first win as a team. The boys came out on top in a dramatic 63-61 win.
The Lady Indians earned a historic 42-26 win. The JV girls are fielding a team for the first time in known history at TFS. Tanisha Seymour led the way with 16 points, while Kailyn Neal added 11 and Macy Murdock 10 in the win. After scoring only 17 first half points, the TFS offense found another gear with a 25-point second half to finish off Towns County. The girls are now 1-0 on the season, and their next slated game is December 18 at home against Walhalla.
The Indians had an absolute thriller in which they won 63-31. Gavin Page led with a game-high 31 points. The JV boys play again on Saturday, December 5 against Wesleyan.
