JV boys overtake Walhalla in second half

 
 

CHAZ MULLIS - The junior varsity boys team tacked on another win against Walhalla on Friday night. The Razorbacks claimed an early lead, but the Indians were able to regain their lost ground. 

Walhalla put 13 points on the board in the first quarter as opposed to the JV boys' 8, scored by Diego Crotta and Gavin Page. The Indians were able to take a narrow lead at the end of the second quarter at 24-23. Colton Hicks led in points during the quarter with 7, with Page close behind at 5. The JV team stretched their lead further in the second half, capping the game at 53-39.

Page led in points during the game with 21. Crotta tallied close behind Page with 19, and Hicks racked up 7 points during the matchup. The JV team has yet to lose at 6-0 on the season. They will take on Stephens County at home on Saturday.
