Rising senior Brinson Hall takes low medalist honors at Jennings Mill Summer Shootout

Star golfer Brinson Hall, who is entering her senior year at Tallulah Falls School, tends to make headlines even outside of the traditional high school golf season. Hall, of Mt. Airy, placed first in her most recent golf tournament in Athens at Jennings Mill Country Club on August 15-16.

Hall carded a 76 in her first round and a 79 on day two, for a total of 155 and 11-over par. Her performance gave her the win in the Jennings Mill Summer Shootout, a tournament held as part of the North Georgia Junior Golf tour schedule. Hall beat out the second place finisher by two strokes, and earned 1,250 Pinnacle Bank Points.

Hall was the runner-up at the area tournament and seventh place at state as a sophomore in 2019 for Tallulah Falls School. Her 9-hole 36 score is tied for the school record, while her 74, 18-hole tally is also a TFS record.
