JV boys prevail in fiery matchup against Galloway

 
 

CHAZ MULLIS - The backboard shook rapidly in the final minutes of Saturday night's matchup against Galloway, which saw the JV boys continue their winning streak by a narrow margin at 43-40. This game marked the JV team's 11 straight victory in their season.

TFS led throughout the first half with scores of 12-8 in the first and 19-16 in the second quarter. Gavin Page speared the way with 8 points in the half. The Indians were outed by the Scots in the third quarter by a mere 29-30 loss. Nonetheless, the JV squad channeled their strength in the last 5 minutes of the fourth and prevailed at 43-40. 

Page led the Indian's score with 15, including a crucial free throw during the fourth that settled the game. Colton Hicks trailed with 13 points, along with Lincoln Hall at 7.

The JV boys are now 11-0 and will play Loganville Christian on Tuesday.
