TFS competes in JV Spring Swing Tournament

TFS competed in the JV Spring Swing Tournament at Apple Mountain on Saturday.

The team consisted of sophomore Hannah Lundy, and eighth-graders; Ella Akers, Mallory Higgins, and Madeline Martin. The tournament was a four-man scramble format. TFS girls finished the round of 18-holes with an 86, and tied for 14th place out of 16 teams.

"Although we didn't finish in the top half of the field, the girls enjoyed their time competing together," says coach Hannah Satterfield. "It was a great opportunity for my rising 9th graders to compete alongside Hannah Lundy, as this team will be the future of the high school girls golf program. I think there is room for improvement in many areas, but overall I think it was a great learning experience for all players."
