MS girls track wins meet against Rabun Gap
The TFS middle school track & field teams competed at Rabun Gap on Monday afternoon. The girls came away with a 56-44 win, while the boys fell 54-43.
The following won their respective events:
GIRLS: 4x100 Relay (Lizita Miller, Kaitlyn McArthur, Chesney Tanksley, Jace Ibemere), 4x400 Relay (Ibemere, Miller, McArthur, Tanksley), Ibemere (triple jump, long jump), Miller (100m, 200m) and Tanksley (400m). Other notable performances came from Kaitlyn McArthur and Gracey Eller in the high jump.
BOYS: Jason Bard (shot put, 1600m , Clay Kafsky (long jump, 400m, 800m), and the 4x400 relay (Cody Loonubon, Timothy Beck, Bard, Kafsky).
