TFS soccer edges out pair of road wins at Prince Avenue Christian

 
 

The TFS soccer teams traveled on Wednesday evening to Prince Avenue Christian for pivotal region showdowns, and both the boys and girls walked off the pitch victorious. 

INDIANS

The Indians earned a thrilling 2-1 win on the road against PAC. Max Farris and Sammy Davis notched the goals, with Cainan Yaskiewicz recording an assist. Prince Avenue went ahead early with a goal. After an equalizer by Farris, a red card left the Indians down a player the rest of the match.

Davis scored a goal shortly after for the eventual game-winner. Neither team scored in the second half. 

"Our guys fought really hard and really worked together to pull out a win even being a man down for about 50 minutes," states coach Jeremy Stille.

TFS moves to 7-3 overall and 5-3 within region 8-A Private.

LADY INDIANS

The Lady Indians posted a clean sheet in a 2-0 win on the road at Prince Avenue Christian. Senior Grace Kim and sophomore Addie Higbie scored the goals, while freshman keeper Kyndal Anderson recorded the shutout between the pipes.

TFS maintains second place in the region standings, and are now 6-3-1 overall and 6-2 in region play.
