Lady Indians season ends in opening round of state at Holy Innocents

The TFS Lady Indians embarked on their first-ever state playoff appearance, taking on Holy Innocents on the road in the opening round of the GHSA Class 1A Private tournament.

The Lady Indians fell 3-0, as both Maggie Peacock and Gigi Welch dropped their matches, along with the first doubles combo of Ashli Webb and Sophie Herrera. Evette Corwin and the doubles unit of Cassidy Hayes and Annabelle Jackson were still playing when the match was called, as Holy Innocents had clinched the victory.

The Lady Indians finish the 2021 season with a stellar record of 10-7 overall, coming in as the #3 seed out of Region 8-A Private.
