TFS ESports has two teams in the Elite 8

The TFS ESports program continues to make history, as two of the teams have advanced to the Elite 8 in the state tournament. On Monday afternoon, the Legue of Legends and Rocket League TFS teams both earned wins to advance to the next round.

The League of Legends team, The Mushrooms, defeated Denmark, while Farming Simulator (the Rocket League team), defeated Pickens County.

"The unique thing about Esports is we are competing with schools that have thousands of students," says coach Casey Barron. "For our teams to both make it to the top eight in the state speaks volumes to the players we have."

Both teams on Tuesday will play for a shot at the Final Four.

Rocket League members include Eli Higbie, Baylee Macbeth and Cainan Chitwood. League of Legends members are Junho So, Jingyi and Jingan Sang, Daniel Shin and David Hu.
