Lady Indians MS take 32-point win over Woody Gap

 
 

The TFS Middle School girls basketball team played host to Woody Gap on Saturday morning, coming out with a 38-6 impressive win. After leading 18-2 through one quarter, the defense allowed nothing more until the third.

It was a 28-2 halftime lead for TFS, who outscored Woody Gap 10-4 in the second half to secure the win. The first quarter saw TFS protect the basketball with no turnovers. A 12-0 run to open the game got the Lady Indians up for good. LB Kafsky's 6 points and Josie Plaisted's 4 points paced the offense in the first quarter.

Narissa Dawson came up big in the second quarter, scoring several buckets as TFS went up 28-2 into the break. Kafsky and Dawson both led in scoring with 8 points. Emily Cai had 6 points, while Plaisted, Emma Arden, and Emily Shoemaker had 4 points apiece. Abby McCoy and Gracie Gunter had 2 points each in the win. Dawson also led with 10 rebounds.

TFS moves to 3-3 on the season, and play Monday at home against Highlands.
