TFS Mushrooms advance to Sweet 16, to play Northview Friday

The TFS Mushrooms, the League of Legends ESports team, miraculously were able to get their season back on track, and quickly advanced in the state tournament with a win on Wednesday.

Recently, the team was forced to forfeit the remainder of their season with too many players having to leave the country to get home. However, some of those individuals were unable to make it home, giving them the ability to remain at TFS and complete the ESports season. 

The Mushrooms were ranked #4 in the state and have an 11-1 record overall. On Wednesday, the team earned a crucial win to secure a third consecutive Sweet 16 appearance. TFS will take on Northview on Friday night with a shot to get to the Elite 8 for the second time this season (the Mushrooms advanced also to the Elite 8 in the fall season).
