Precision Rifle remains unbeaten with win over Lithonia
The TFS Precision Rifle team was in action at home on Thursday evening against Lithonia, a 5A program, and came away with a 1132-922 win to complete the 2022 portion of their schedule.
Junior Joseph McGahee fired a team-best 287, while sophomore Leah Rogers was close behind with a 284. Junior Ethan Simmons (281), sophomore Kylee Loudermilk (280), and freshman Zeek Pruitt (270) rounded out the scoring.
"At TFS we hold our athletes to a high standard and they must shoot a 280 or better in a match to letter," says coach Tim Stamey. "Seven of our eight team members have now lettered after only three matches into the season, and Pruitt was close in his first match ever!"
The team is now 3-0 to start the season, and will be back in action after the Christmas break.
