Lady Indians post clean sheet win over North Hall in opener

The Lady Indians opened the 2023 season with a clean sheet victory, taking a 2-0 win over visiting North Hall on Friday.

Both goals were scored by Jenna Chesser, one in each half. Addie Higbie assisted the first goal to give TFS the early lead. That held til the break. Chesser's second goal came on a breakaway in the second half.

Kyndal Anderson preserved the shutout with 10 saves.

"Goals and shutouts didn't happen without the help of the entire team," says coach Travis Mullis. "The girls don't care who gets the credit just so long as they are able to play together. Everyone played and contributed significantly. One Team, One Dream!"

The Lady Indians are 1-0, and return to the pitch on Tuesday at home against Athens Christian.
