Congratulations to TFS Middle School Students of the Month for August

Middle school teachers at Tallulah Falls School have named Students of the Month for August in all grades as follows: 

Sixth-grade teachers have selected Aubrey McAllister as Student of the Month for August. Aubrey is a wonderful example of what it means to be a positive sixth-grade student. From the very beginning of the school year, she has shown kindness, respect, responsibility, and a genuine willingness to learn. She treats others with compassion, participates in class, and brings a positive attitude to our school each day. Her maturity and thoughtful nature make her a joy to have in the classroom, and she is already making a terrific impression on both her teachers, coaches, and classmates. Aubrey shows outstanding school spirit by participating in soccer and cross country. Congratulations, Aubrey.

Seventh-grade teachers have selected Bonham Van Doornum as Student of the Month for August. He is a member of the TFS band and braves the heat to run cross country for TFS. The seventh grade teachers have observed Bonham consistently demonstrating kindness, helpfulness, and good character. Bonham makes a point of uplifting his classmates through his generosity and thoughtfulness. Going above and beyond to consider others' needs over his own has become his defining characteristic. He exhibits strength of character and is willing to be a light. Congratulations, Bonham.

Eighth-grade teachers have selected Matteus York as Student of the Month for August. Matteus stands out as a young man who fosters a positive community both at school and on his sports team. He balances his athletic and academic responsibilities with excellence and helps his peers, showing humble leadership. Congratulations, Matteus.
