Tallulah Falls School students made their debut appearance in the Habersham County Christmas Parade in Baldwin, with the school’s first-ever parade float. This initially simple idea, brought to life by the National Honor Society, quickly grew into a larger effort, with NHS members devoting their time to decorating and walking alongside the float during the parade.

The float itself carried TFS fourth graders, joined by teachers Sandy Crenshaw and Katie Purcell, with the students' excitement

setting the tone for the night. Participant Emily Cai shared that she “loved hanging out with TFS friends and celebrating Christmas joy with the community.”

This moment has been a long time coming. “Mrs. Bogan [former English teacher] and I had envisioned having a float for years and getting NHS involved in its creation. I am so glad it happened. The fourth graders were enthusiastic and fun, and the NHS members did a great job interacting with the crowd,” said NHS sponsor Mrs. Bly.
