TFS Senior Captures Spirit of Twin Rivers Challenge

The Twin Rivers Challenge Art Contest once again became a class project for Tallulah Falls School art students. Under the guidance of upper school art teacher Stephanie Stuefer, students blended the beauty of northeast Georgia, vibrant autumn colors, and cycling themes into their designs for the chance to see their artwork featured on the 2025 Twin Rivers Challenge T-shirt.
TFS senior Kaylin Pickett of Demorest, Georgia, created the winning design. Pickett explained her first goal was to highlight the striking mountain landscape of Tallulah Falls, a defining feature of the area. “I also wanted to make sure to showcase the main element of the race -- the bike!” she said. I added a sun to showcase ‘the light in the mountains’ that we value here at TFS. In creating my designs, my goal was to create a T-shirt that participants and all of those who made the event possible could take with them and proudly wear to remember the beauty of Tallulah Falls and the important elements of the race.”
“It is always a delight to feature student artwork on the ride T-shirt,” said Executive Director for Advancement Sonya Smith. “It’s a powerful reminder that the Twin Rivers Challenge is about more than cycling—it’s about supporting students and strengthening our community.”
The back of the shirt showcases event sponsors, including presenting sponsor Ron Cantrell Construction, Inc. of Cleveland, and meal sponsor Springer Mountain Farms. This year’s cycling event, a fundraiser for student scholarships, will take place on Saturday, October 25, at Tallulah Falls School.
