The TFS Lower & Middle School Spring Art Show Highlights Award-Winning Student Work

Lower and Middle School Art Teacher Paige Barlow, faculty and staff members, and her art students hosted a fabulous Spring Art Show. Student art hung from every wall, took up every space as beautiful, unique, and entertaining displays. The exhibit featured an impressive collection of 571 works created by 164 student artists throughout the year, spanning 33 categories in both 2D and 3D media.

Several students stood out for their exceptional accomplishments:

Sophia earned top honors along with two first-place awards and a second-place finish. Judges unanimously selected her work for its ability to draw the viewer in. In addition to this piece, Sophia’s portfolio included a first-place Christmas card design, a pencil portrait, an acrylic painting, and marker drawings. She also participated in the Capitol Art Show in Atlanta and the GISA Art Contest.
