Our Campus
Tallulah Falls School is situated on a pristine, 500-acre wooded campus built on the southern slopes of Cherokee Mountain in Northeast Georgia.
Students find themselves immersed in an atmosphere that fosters academic excellence and encourages an appreciation for nature and the preservation of natural resources. This is education at its best.
Tallulah Falls School prides itself on its first-class facilities. Across campus, TFS carries the atmosphere of a small college, with stone walls framing key facilities. These timeless structures not only reflect the school’s rich history but also symbolize the enduring foundation every student takes with them.

FAVORITE PLACES
My favorite place on campus is the upper school media center because that is where I get to hang out
with my friends and I really enjoy getting hot chocolate at the coffee bar.-Marina Dumas, TFS Student

EVANS STUDENT CENTER
The Lettie Pate Evans Student Center, dedicated in 1999, is named for Lettie Pate Evans, a benefactor of TFS. The facility features gathering and activity areas, the Sports Fitness Center, the Golf Performance Lab and the Coca-Cola Theater. Students can gather to relax and spend time together, as well as to study.

SPORTS FITNESS CENTER
On the Upper School side of campus inside the lower level of the Lettie Pate Evans Student Center is the newly renovated (2019) Sports Fitness Center for conditioning and training/fitness. This features all-new equipment for aerobics, weight training, resistance training, and more. Students and staff utilize the weight room all year long.

AMICK FIELD
Amick Athletic Field was built in 1955 and named after former football coach Hervey Amick. The soccer field has stadium seating and a field house for athletes, with LED lighting added in 2021. The stadium also has a 120-meter 8-lane straightaway track, multi-lane jumps pit, six-shot put rings, discus cage, four discus circles.

SHORTLINE TRAIL
The nearby 'Shortline Trail' is a paved trail, approximately 1.7 miles in length. Part of the trail goes through where an old train line used to run. A suspension bridge over Tallulah Lake is a key point along the trail. It's ideal for a leisurely walk or a light run. Being wide, shaded, flat, and wide - the Shortline is a favorite for many in the area.

NATATORIUM
The TFS Natatorium (built in 2020) is home to the 2024-25 State Champion TFS swim team. The state-of-the-art facility houses a 10-lane competition pool and seats up to 240 spectators. The natatorium is also used for PE classes, scuba courses, water safety training, and recreational use for TFS community members.

MEDIA CENTER
The media center is more than just a place for books—it's the heart of student life on campus. Whether students are meeting up with friends, settling in for a quiet study session, visiting the coffee bar for a quick treat, or browsing the shelves for their next great read, the space is both welcoming and inspiring.
