President's Welcome

"I look forward to welcoming you to our campus and our family."
Thank you for visiting with us. Tallulah Falls School is an independent, coeducational boarding and day school serving approximately 500 students. We enroll day students in grades four to 12 and boarding students in grades seven to 12. Our students have multiple unique opportunities on our breathtaking 500-acre mountain campus.
A Message from Dr. Peevy
Our mission is to provide a solid intellectual foundation for our students while fostering positive character traits. We achieve this through a comprehensive college preparatory curriculum that includes more than 20 on-campus dual-enrollment college classes available to our juniors and seniors. Additionally, we have cultivated a culture where students serve one another, demonstrate empathy, and embrace diversity. We are preparing leaders with strong character. Visitors who walk through our doors notice something unique about our students.
Our campus is located in one of the United States' most desirable destinations, which gives students access to miles of hiking trails, camping, fishing, boating, snow skiing, biking, kayaking, and exploring in nature, especially Tallulah Gorge State Park, which borders our campus.
As we focus on developing the whole student, TFS expects our students to benefit from learning opportunities both within and outside of the classroom. Throughout the year, both the lower, middle, and upper school students engage in multiple interactive and educational field trips.
Our upper school students participate in our yearly Mid-mester experience - a week-long experiential learning opportunity designed for each grade.
In addition, we have a thriving athletic program that is a significant part of the life of the school. Our quality coaches, facilities, and equipment give our athletes the best opportunity to compete. Every team strives to have a season of significance, with each athlete contributing to the life of the team.
Our primary objective is student success. Everyone on campus – faculty, staff and students – embraces a unified goal – creating excellence in academics and character as these are essential to their education, careers, and life endeavors.
Please contact our admissions office to schedule a personal visit to campus. We will be happy to provide a tour of our facilities, treat you to lunch, and answer all of your questions. We want you and your family to see the unique and impactful “life experience” that students enjoy at Tallulah Falls School.
I look forward to welcoming you to our campus and our family.
