TFS coaches name Indians of the Week for April 23-28

Tallulah Falls School coaches have selected their Indian athletes of the week for April 23-28.

Senior Anna Davis of Clarkesville was named an Indian of the Week by track & field coach Scott Neal. “Anna ran a 14.79 to set the TFS 100-meter hurdle record at the Class A-Private State Sectional Track & Field meet,” said Neal. “She anchored the 4x400 relay in 58.8 seconds while moving the team from sixth to fourth place in the heat and advanced to the state finals in two weeks. Anna also advances to the finals in the 300-meter hurdles and the long jump.”

Junior Ajani McIntosh of Sylva, NC was selected as an Indian of the Week by track & field coach Scott Neal. “Ajani placed fourth at the Area 2 A-Private Track and Field Championships to advance to the State Sectionals/Semi-Finals,” said Neal. “Ajani is a positive teammate who wishes others the best as he works diligently to improve himself. Though he did not advance to the state finals, he consistently practiced with purposeful intent to advance as far as he did in an incredibly difficult region.”
