TFS coaches name of the Week for Dec. 24-29
Tallulah Falls School coaches have selected their Indian athletes of the week for December 24-29.
VARSITY GIRL
Sophomore Katy Corbett of Lakemont was named an Indian of the Week by varsity girls basketball coach Brandy Corbett. “During the Region 8A Holiday Classic, Katy scored a total of 50 points,” Corbett said. “She had a career-high 21 points against Athens Christian and had a double-double against Prince Avenue with 18 points and 11 rebounds. She averaged 16.7 points and 8.7 rebounds during the three days of tournament play.”
VARSITY BOY
Freshman Gabe Keene of Demorest was selected as an Indian of the Week by varsity boys basketball coach Jim Van Hooser. “Gabe continues to improve as an all-around basketball player,” Van Hooser said. “In the tournament this week he scored 11 points and grabbed 11 rebounds with three blocked shots. His confidence at the varsity level continues to grow.”
