TFS varsity soccer team improving tactical approach

The Tallulah Falls School varsity soccer team suffered a 3-0 defeat to Highlands School on Thursday, Sept. 5, at home. The Highlanders led 1-0 at halftime and added two goals late in the second half to seal the victory.

Although the Indians were unable to get a win, Head Coach Brett Adams is optimistic about the team moving forward.

“We are consistently trying to work on our tactical approach to the game. Obviously, there is always room for technical improvement,” coach Brett Adams said. “Basic fundamentals like trapping and passing. Our movement is getting better. I think our guidance through communication with different teammates is getting better; I’m encouraged by that.”

The team will step back on the pitch this Friday, Sept. 13, when they host Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School.
