MS girls compete in Banks County Jamboree
The middle school girls basketball team played in a Saturday Jamboree at Banks County, earning three unofficial wins. The girls beat Banks County, Jefferson, and Rabun County.
In the first game, a 40-10 win over Banks, Haygen James led the Lady Indians with 12 points. Chesney Tanksley and Breelyn Wood had eight points each, and Gemma Farris had six. LB Kafsky, Lizzie Huebner and Millie Holcomb each had two.
The girls then beat Jefferson, 28-16. James led again with 16 point, while Huebner had eight, and Wood and Holcomb two each.
In the final game, a win over Rabun, James had 23 points, Tanksley ten, Huebner eight and Farrris and Holcomb two apiece.
TFS plays its next official game Monday at Lakeview.
