Lady Indians end September surge with pair of wins

 
 

The TFS varsity volleyball team traveled to Prince Avenue Christian for a Tuesday tri-match, and came out with a pair of wins. The Lady Indians defeated both Prince Avenue and Oglethorpe in 2-0 fashion.

The Lady Indians (15-12) moved to 4-1 in area play with the win over Prince Avenue. The evening began with an intense set against PAC, as TFS came out in a 25-23 thriller. Prince Avenue tried to retaliate in the second set, taking a 14-13 lead. PAC remained ahead, holding a slim 21-20 lead. The Lady Indians tied it at 21, and went on to win 25-23 again.

The match win made it four straight for TFS. That grew to five wins in a row after a quick 2-0 match win over Oglethorpe. After holding a small lead at 12-9, TFS went on a 13-1 run to close it out with a 25-10 set win. The girls finished off the match with a 25-14 second-set win.

The girls closed out their September schedule with a five-match win streak, moving to 15-12 overall and 4-1 in area play. After going just 3-10 in August, Tallulah Falls School has gone 12-2.

The TFS JV team fell 2-0 to Prince Avenue as well.
