Lady Indians MS soccer plays to draw with Rabun Gap

The TFS MS girls soccer team took on rivals Rabun Gap, playing to a 1-1 draw at home. The Lady Indians went down 1-0 early, but rallied back to tie the game.

"After a fiery, but encouraging halftime talk, we came out again and completely flipped the game, dominating the entire second half," says coach Laura Higbie. "We had multiple scoring chances and our team stayed on their half 95% of the time in the second half. I was really proud of the changes in effort made after halftime."

Josie Chesser notched the equalizer to bring it to 1-1.

"The girls and I are very much looking forward to a rematch on April 21 at Rabun Gap," states Higbie.

TFS is 1-6-3 overall heading into the season finale.
