MS volleyball earns Monday home split

The TFS middle school volleyball team competed at home against Habersham on Monday, earning a split in the process. The A-Team took a tough loss in two straight sets, while the B-Team earned a straight-set victory.

The A-Team fell 16-25 in the opening set, and 14-25 in the second. For the B-Team, it was a 25-7, 25-20 well-earned win in two sets.

"LB Kafsky and Shelby Whisnant led the team in serving," says coach Hannah Satterfield. "Keely Franks and Ryleigh Wilson had several key digs and kills during the competition. We are very proud of the way this team performed tonight. This team continues to climb the ladder of improvement each game."

The A-Team's record now stands at 10-4 overall and 7-2 within the conference, while the B-Team is 4-3-3 overall and 4-2-3 in conference competition. The teams play again Tuesday against Jefferson, again at home, to finish off the regular season.
