Indians B-Team drops exhibition against Velo Factory

 
 

The TFS boys B-Team dropped an exhibition game to end their season on Tuesday evening. Playing at Wilbanks Middle School against Velo Factory, the Indians lost 30-25. The exhibition consisted of 4 10-minute quarters with a running clock, as well as a "5th" quarter of 5 minutes.

TFS led 9-6 after one quarter, as the boys went on a 7-2 run to open the game. In the second quarter, Velo Factory took a 16-14 lead that held to the halftime break. Lincoln Hicks hit a 3-pointer to highlight the action.

In the third, TFS scored only 2 points, a Hicks bucket, as the opposition pulled ahead 22-16. In the final stanza, the Indians got the offense back on track thanks to 3-pointers by Ryder Cantrell and Ethan Phasavang. 

Jack Green led the team in scoring with 9 points, adding 6 rebounds and 4 steals. Hicks chipped in with 7 points, while Isaac Farris had 4 points, Cantrell and Phasavang 3 apiece, and Austin Whitener 2. Phasavang also had 10 steals and 5 assists. 

With this being a non-counting exhibition, the Indians closed the season at 5-1 overall.
