JV boys, girls grab road wins at Monsignor Donovan

The Tallulah Falls JV basketball teams traveled Saturday to Monsignor Donovan, where both teams took convincing wins.

The Indians won 42-32 in a solid 10-point win. Teryk Tilley had a team-high 13 points. Jay Taylor added 7, Andrija Vujacic had 6, Hayden Bootle 4, and 2 apiece for Deveon Allen, Wyatt Franks, Marquis Rolle, and Octavio Santana.

The boys are now 14-1 on the season.

The Lady Indians JV team meanwhile picked up their first win of the season in a 61-8 final. The girls led 20-4 after the first, and held the home team scoreless in the second quarter to take a 38-4 lead into the locker room. 

Lana Malbraski had a game-high 14 points, Pola Pilicka had 9, while Haygen James and Andrijana Albijanic both recorded 8 points apiece. Millie Holcomb and Kovianne Strachan had 6 points each, while Breelyn Wood added 4. Tiana Bojovic, Lupita Carillo, and Ashlyn Cleveland all had 2 points apiece.

The JV girls are now 1-4 on the season.
