For each school break, Tallulah Falls School offers a shuttle to and from the Indian Trail Rideshare parking lot at Exit 101 on I-85 just north of Atlanta. 

Parents/guardians will be required to submit the name of the person picking up and dropping off their students at the shuttle. This designated person must be over the age of 21. Uber, Lyft, and other taxi service drivers cannot be the designated person to pick up or drop off students. Given the traffic situation in and around Atlanta, we recommend that your designated person arrive early and be waiting at Indian Trail when the shuttle arrives. 

Picking up students at the beginning of a school break: Once the bus arrives at Indian Trail you will need to see the school representative that rode the bus, so your student can be signed out by the appropriate adult. Once the sheet is signed, your student is able to leave. 

Dropping off students at the end of a school break: Again, we recommend arriving early, so your student is ready for their return to campus when the shuttle arrives. The bus will only wait 15 minutes after the scheduled pick-up time before returning to campus. If you miss the shuttle, the designated person will need to drive the student back to TFS. 

Price and Policy: The cost for the shuttle service is $100. The amount is non-refundable and it includes a ride to and from campus. Once you have signed up for the Indian Trail shuttle your account will be billed for the service. 

Times for pick up and drop off will be determined on a per break basis.

As you prepare for the 2025-26 academic year at Tallulah Falls School, the following information should assist you in travel planning. For school breaks, the dorms will open/close as follows, and the following arrival/departure guidelines apply when booking air travel: 

Tallulah Falls School will keep its dormitories open during the Fall Break and Winter Break for the 2025-26 academic year. Students wishing to remain in the dorms during these breaks will be allowed to do so for a fee of $900. Contingency on a mininum number of students.

1. At each school break, Tallulah Falls School offers school transportation to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport for students who plan to fly for the break. 
2. For a student to use the school transportation, their parent/guardian must provide the boarding office with the student’s flight information (dates/airline/flight numbers/departure/arrival time). 
3. If your student is flying as an unaccompanied minor, please contact Mr. Jon Benson with the information of the person meeting your student at their destination. All unaccompanied minor fees must be pre-paid by the parent/guardian to the airline when booking the flight. Tallulah Falls School has a $50 fee for assisting unaccompanied minors to and from their gate.
4. The cost for transportation to the airport is $120 roundtrip or $60 one way.
   1. Students arriving by 1 PM will depart on the 3 PM shuttle.
   2. Students who could not catch the 3 PM shuttle may catch the late shuttle, which will depart at 7:30 PM. These students will be responsible for dinner on their own at the airport as they will miss dinner on campus.
   3. Students who book a flight with an arrival time after 6 PM and require school transportation will incur a higher transportation cost. This cost will be $200.00 for one student or $125.00 per student if two or more students are able to use the same special transportation.
5. Students are not permitted to use Uber, Lyft, or other taxi services to return to campus. They must use either school transportation or an approved adult.

• Please have flights arrive before 1 PM on Tuesday.
• TFS bus will arrive at the airport at 2 PM
• TFS bus will depart the airport at 3 PM
• TFS late bus will depart the airport at 7:30 PM

Saturday August 9, 2025: Dorms open at 2 PM

• Please have flights arrive before 1 PM
• TFS bus will arrive at the airport at 2 PM

Fall Break

• Thursday, October 9, 2025 (option 1 departure) please book flights to depart after 9 PM
• Friday, October 10, 2025 (option 2 departure) please book flights after 1 PM 
• Friday, October 10, 2025: Dorms close at 12 PM
• Sunday, October 19, 2025: Dorms open at 3 PM
• Flights need to return by 1 PM on Sunday, October 19 to catch the 3 PM shuttle. There will be a late shuttle departing at 7:30 PM for late and delayed arrivals. 

Thanksgiving Break

• Friday, November 21, 2025: Dorms close at 1 PM
• Sunday, November 30, 2025: Dorms open at 3 PM
• Flights depart after 5 PM on Friday, November 21 and return by 1 PM on Sunday, November 30 to catch the 3 PM shuttle. There will be a late shuttle departing at 7:30 PM for late and delayed arrivals. 

Christmas Break

• Thursday, December 18, 2025: Dorms close 1 PM 
• Sunday, January 4, 2026: Dorms open at 3 PM
• Flights depart after 5 PM on Thursday, December 18 and return by 1 PM on Sunday, January 4 to catch the 3 PM shuttle. There will be a late shuttle departing at 7:30 PM for late and delayed arrivals. 

Winter Break

• Friday, February 13, 2026: Dorms close at 1 PM
• Sunday, February 22, 2026: Dorms open at 3 PM
• Flights depart after 5 PM on Friday, February 13 and return by 1 PM on Sunday, February 22, 2025 to catch the 3 PM shuttle. There will be a late shuttle departing at 7:30 PM for late and delayed arrivals. 

Spring Break

• Thursday, March 26, 2026 (option 1 departure) please book flights to depart after 9 PM
• Friday, March 27, 2026 (option 2 departure) please book flights after 1 PM
• Friday, March 27, 2026: Dorms close at 12 PM
• Monday, April 6, 2026: Dorms open at 3 PM
• Flight should arrive on Monday, April 6 by 1 PM to catch the 3 PM shuttle. There will be a late shuttle departing at 7:30 PM for late and delayed arrivals. 

Summer Break

• Wednesday, May 20, 2026 (Middle School).
• Thursday, May 21, 2026 (9th-11th Grade)
• Graduation May 22, 2026 10 AM
• Flights depart after 5 PM on Thursday, May 21 All 9th-11th MUST depart campus. 
• Senior flights should depart after 5:30 PM on Friday, May 22

If flights are booked outside the dates listed above, the Special Airport Shuttle Fee is $200. If you need to book a flight at a different date/time, please contact Mr. Benson before purchasing a ticket to be sure that transportation is available on the date/time desired.
