Shuttle Schedule & Flight Guidelines

School shuttle to Indian Trail Rideshare – Open Weekends/Breaks

Each open weekend and school break, TFS offers a school shuttle to the Indian Trail Rideshare Parking Lot at Exit 101 on I-85 just north of Atlanta. 

The cost for this shuttle is $90/round trip or $45/one way and must be paid in advance. 

Parents/guardians will be required to submit the name of the person picking up and dropping off the student at the bus. This person must be over the age of 21 and cannot be an Uber, Lyft or taxi service. 

Below you will find the arrival and departure times for the shuttle.

Arrive at Indian Trail from TFS: Friday, August 30 at 2 p.m.
Depart Indian Trail for TFS: Monday, September 2 at 4 p.m.

 

October Open Weekend

Arrive at Indian Trail from TFS: Thursday, October 10 at 2 p.m.
Depart Indian Trail for TFS: Sunday, October 13 at 4 p.m.

 

Thanksgiving Break

Flight arrival and departure guidelines 2019-20

1. At each school break, Tallulah Falls School offers school transportation to the Atlanta Airport for students who need to fly for the break. This year, we will also offer this option for the Easter Open Weekend. 

2. For a student to be able to use the school transportation, their parent/guardian must provide the boarding office with the student’s flight information (dates/airline/flight numbers/departure time/arrival time). 

3. Please follow the school guidelines when booking your students flights. The guidelines for each break are listed on the next page. If you are looking at scheduling a flight at a time that does not fit into these guidelines, you MUST contact the Boarding Office to see if the flight can be accommodated. If you do not contact the boarding office prior to purchase, you will be responsible for any fees to change your student’s ticket to an appropriate time. 

5. If your student is flying as an unaccompanied minor, please contact the boarding office with the information of the person who will be meeting your student at their destination. All unaccompanied minor fees must be pre-paid by the parent/guardian when booking the flight. 

6. The cost for transportation to the airport is $150/roundtrip or $75/one way.

Departure: Friday, November 22 after 5 p.m.
Arrival: Sunday, December 1 by 1 p.m.

 

Christmas Break (Closed Campus)

Departure: Thursday, December 19 after 5 p.m.

*For International Students: If flight arrangements cannot be made for after 5 p.m on Thursday, you may arrange a flight before noon on Friday, December 20. If you choose to leave on Friday, you will spend Thursday night at an airport hotel with a school chaperone and fly out on Friday morning. There is an additional fee for this option. It ranges in price depending upon how many students use this option

Arrival: Sunday, January 5 by 1 p.m.

 

Winter Break (Closed Campus)

Departure: Friday, February 21 after 5 p.m. 
Arrival: Sunday, March 1 by 1 p.m.


Spring Break (Closed Campus)

Departure: Friday, April 3 after 5 p.m. 
Arrival: Monday, April 13 by 1 p.m.

Departure: Thursday, May 21 after 5 p.m.
