Mid-Mester

The Mid-Mester Experience is a signature component of the fall semester at Tallulah Falls School, offering students in grades 9–12 the chance to engage in dynamic, week-long, grade-level trips. These immersive experiences are intentionally designed to expand learning beyond the classroom, fostering curiosity, leadership, collaboration, and a deeper understanding of the real world.

Whether exploring historic landmarks, engaging in service projects, or discovering new cultures and environments, students gain invaluable perspectives and forge lasting memories.

Mid-Mester Experiences

The following stories provide an in-depth look at personal and powerful moments our students have experienced during previous Mid-Mester trips. The May-Mester trips vary from year to year. Ninth grade takes a trip to Florida’s Space Coast. Tenth grade travels to Charleston, South Carolina. Eleventh grade focuses on exploring colleges through campus tours. Twelfth grade students have a variety of options, including career exploration, job shadowing, and trips to New York City, the Grand Canyon, Germany, or Costa Rica.
