TFS names middle school Students of the Month for February

Four Tallulah Falls School middle school students have been selected by members of the middle school faculty as students of the month for February.

The fifth grade student of the month for February is Anna Siebert of Cleveland. “Anna is always prepared and participates in class,” middle school English and history teacher Stacie Besier said.  “She is kind to everyone and always follows the Tallulah 12 [principles of exemplary behavior].

The sixth grade student of the month is Cecily Tucker of Demorest. “Cecily is self-motivated, on-task and focused on academics,” mathematics instructor Annette Shirley said. “She is also kind, well-mannered, responsible and leads by example by showing good work habits and a positive attitude.”

The seventh grade student of the month is Colton Augustine of Demorest. “Colton is a very polite young man with a positive attitude and a sunny demeanor,” English teacher Kim McClurg said. “He always greets his teachers with kind words and a smile to start the day.  In the classroom, he is an absolute leader and often takes the initiative to be the leader in a group of his peers.  He is able to lead but to still maintain the respect of his classmates while doing so.  Colton is also extremely intelligent, and both teachers and classmates enjoy his fresh ideas and the depth he brings to academic discussions within his classes.”

The final middle school student of the month is eighth grader Brinson Hall of Mt. Airy. “Brinson is an outstanding student who takes initiative, is well-spoken and works well in groups,” Georgia history teacher Killeen Jensen said. “She is also proactive, well-rounded and a strong academic student.”
