My name is Andrew Kivett and I am a seventh grade student at Tallulah Falls School. Tallulah Falls School has helped me in several ways.

I have learned the importance of managing my time as I like to get my work done quickly so I can also participate in other activities and hobbies including playing soccer.  I usually like to get my work done as soon as I get home so I can go to soccer practice and not worry about homework.  TFS has also taught that it is important to plan and focus on my future goals and the importance of working hard to achieve them. In the two years I have been at TFS, I have learned not to procrastinate, for example, if I have a project, I will try to get it done early so I do not have to worry and continue to think about it.  Some classes are harder than others and it has taught me that I need to study more in the classes that are more difficult, but I also know that I need to work hard in my other classes.

Tallulah Falls School has helped me in developing my character by respecting people more. I have continued to learn that it is important to be polite to other students and to help others when they are struggling.  I have found some teachers have different styles of teaching.  For example, I have really enjoyed how my science class is set up.  Mr. Roland lets us participate by using methods that we apply with “hands on” experiences.  I also have enjoyed how Coach Cece pushes me to be my best even when it is hard.  I have learned to appreciate the different teaching styles and I am grateful for all my teachers at Tallulah Falls School.
