My name is Jordan Teng and I have attended Tallulah Falls School since the  seventh grade. During my time at TFS, I was able to play soccer and run track and field. I was also able to join the National Honors Society, Interact Club, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. I have been exposed to many great things here and I have thrived because of it.

Attending TFS has greatly impacted my life in a positive way. I first came to TFS because I wanted to be challenged and have a great future. Since coming to TFS, I have been able to see many interesting aspects of each subject due to the great teachers and resources that are provided here.

In contrast to the large class sizes at my former school, TFS has small classes which have helped me learn better and make more friends.

I was able to bond with my new friends on the yearly trips we had in middle school. Those trips were most likely the highlight of the year for most students because we were able to learn and have fun at the same time.

In addition to becoming a better student, I was able to develop better character as a result of the sports. My coaches have taught us to be great people in addition to being great athletes. TFS has adopted the G.R.E.A.T. standard, which promotes great character and sportsmanship, and I feel that has helped all the student athletes develop great character. Coach Neal has always taught me to be G.R.E.A.T. not only on the field, but also in life.

As I transitioned into high school, the work started to get harder and harder, but I was prepared for the challenge and I thrived. I was able to learn more than I ever could in any former school and this has given me an advantage on the SAT and the ACT. I am positive that my SAT and ACT test scores would not be as high as they are if I had not gone to TFS.

I was also given the chance to give back to the community by way of the numerous clubs. I have joined the National Honors Society, Interact Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and many more. These clubs have given me the chance to help others.

I feel that I would not be who I am if it had not been for TFS.
