As a part of Tallulah Falls School community, I have been working hard on both academics and extracurricular programs.
I know many teachers in TFS assign much homework that is tough to understand for me as an international student; however, teachers are open-minded to me if I have any questions. They have suggested to me several ideas to overcome difficulties of language. Because of their support and kindness, I have been able to complete assignments by using time efficiently. Also, I am able to get ready for tests and quizzes because of tutorial time offered after school. Teachers at TFS are passionate about their subject. I sometimes have fun watching my teacher being overexcited about her topic. Exciting classes and amazing teachers are helping me to achieve becoming an excellent student at TFS.
I have been a Student Life Assistant for two years in girls’ dorm, which definitely allowed me to become more friendly and responsible. I thank the dorm counselors for encouraging me every time.
There are many international students in the dorms; this opportunity helps me to communicate with diverse people from all around the world.
Also, I have been involved in Key Club, Tri-M Honor Society, Juniorettes, and International Club. As participating in those clubs, I have become more active and charitable. TFS has offered various volunteer services that are significant and meaningful to my high school life.
Because of this support and generosity, I received Outstanding Student in my first semester. TFS offers me chances to be an honorable student in both academic courses and extracurricular programs.
