Eighth graders experience Woodlands Camp

Numerous field trips to mark the end of the academic year are on the calendar for Tallulah Falls School students.

Eighth graders traveled to Woodlands Camp on April 16 to enjoy the outdoor amenities there including a zipline, a giant swing, paintball games, canoeing, swimming, paddle boarding and other activities.

Middle school math teacher Sonya Chesser joined her students for the fun.

“I enjoyed getting to see my students laughing and making memories together.  There is just something about getting students together outside of school that allows them to build relationships, have an unforgettable time and make lasting memories,” Chesser said. “Woodlands Camp provided such a welcoming atmosphere and I am so thankful we were able to share this time with our eighth-grade students.”

Other grades will take trips to Franklin, NC for gem mining and trout fishing, Medieval Times, Six Flags, the Georgia Renaissance Festival and a Braves game for seniors.
