TFS names middle school Students of the Month for August

 
 

Middle school teachers at Tallulah Falls School have named Students of the Month for August in all grades as follows: 

Fifth grade – Mary Kate Ball 

Fifth-grade teachers have selected Mary Kate Ball of Tiger as the Student of the Month for August. 

Mary Kate is a diligent worker and always has a smile on her face. She always has a positive outlook in every situation. We are proud of Mary Kate!

Sixth Grade – Linda White

Sixth-grade teachers have selected Linda White of Toccoa as the Student of the Month for August.

Linda is kind and respectful to her teachers and peers. She is very inquisitive and has a love for learning! Linda is self-motivated and always gives her best effort in all classes. Her attention to detail is incredible, as she produces quality work all across the board. Linda's smile brightens the room, and she is a joy to be around! Congratulations, Linda!

Seventh Grade – Ryleigh Wilson

Seventh-grade teachers have selected Ryleigh Wilson of Alto as the Student of the Month for August. 

Ryleigh is compassionate, kind, and always willing to help a classmate. She is conscientious and goes the extra mile to ensure quality work in all subject areas. Although we have only been in school one month, she has emerged as a leader in the classroom and on the volleyball court; her friendly demeanor and enthusiastic attitude radiate to anyone who comes in contact with her. We are proud to congratulate Ryleigh as our first Student of the Month for the 2021-22 school year!

Eighth Grade – Bryson Perdue and Kaylin Pickett

Eighth-grade teachers have selected Bryson Perdue of Tiger and Kaylin Pickett of Demorest as the Students of the Month for August.  

Bryson is a leader in our community; he considers others and has made sure that new community members feel like they have a place.

In addition to being an excellent student, Bryson has gone out of his way to help the new students feel welcomed and included in the culture of the middle school.

Kaylin always goes above and beyond in her interactions with others and with her classwork. During online learning, she helped me identify areas of my instruction that needed improvement and did so with a winsome and gracious manner.
