TFS Mushrooms fall to Northview in Elite 8

On Monday evening, the TFS Mushrooms (League of Legends) put up a tough fight, but fell to defending state champions Northview. The program ended its run in the Elite 8.

"It goes without saying that I am extremely proud of this team that ends its career with three Elite 8 and one Final 4 appearance in the past three years in the state playoffs," says coach Casey Barron. "This team has been ranked as high as number four in the state and ends their Esports career ranked sixth in the state in League of Legends. It has been my honor to coach these guys for the past three years. Thank you to my assistant coach Josh Brady for his hard work and dedication. Also, thank you to everyone who came out and supported us this year."
