Lady Indians MS earn first win at Woody Gap
The Lady Indians earned a dominant 43-15 win at Woody Gap on Wednesday evening, their first of the young season.
LB Kafsky scored a team-high 18 points, and Payton McEntire also reached double figures with 11 points. Nora Mitchell added four in the winning effort.
"They played so well as a team," says coach Tykia Thompson. "LB and Nora had a lot of steals and played very aggressively. Sadie Henslee had an awesome jump shot during the fourth quarter almost immediately after she went into the game. I am very proud of how hard they are working."
The Lady Indians are now 1-1 on the season, and return to action on Thursday against Towns County at home.
