Tennis cruises into Region Championship match with semifinals wins

The TFS tennis teams continued the record history, remaining undefeated while cruising to Tuesday wins at Rabun County in the Region 8-A DI tournament semifinals. The Lady Indians took a 4-0 win over Commerce, while the Indians earned a 4-1 win over Athens Christian to advance.

All three singles lines for the Lady Indians won, and 1-doubles won as well. The boys got wins at 1- and 2-singles, and both doubles lines.

"Great job today by all in our semifinal matchups," states coach Anthony Cox. "The ladies and gentlemen both came focused on the task at hand to advance to the championships tomorrow. Excellent work today by our boys #2-doubles Aiden and Justin to clinch the match."

The Lady Indians and Indians alike are now 13-0 on the season, and play in the region championship matches on Wednesday.
